What is it?

Evidence-based nutrition support from clinical nutritionists and dietitians — designed for your personal path to better health.

How does it work?

Initial Intake Session

To discuss your health issues, goals, past struggles, preferences, etc. We will also review your medical history, symptoms, lab work, and food record.

Nutritional Testing

To assess nutrient deficiencies, imbalances, and underlying issues to uncover what your body may be missing—and why.

Nutritional Counseling

1:1 sessions to guide you toward healthier eating habits and personalized strategies that are practical, sustainable, and judgment-free.

Supplementation Recommendations

When needed, we recommend supplements for nutrient deficiencies that aren’t easily met through your diet.

Genetic Testing & Interpretation

Your genetic variations reveal how your body responds to certain nutrients. We use it to provide personalized dietary recommendations.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Nutrition Practitioners is a Telehealth company offering nutrition counseling services provided by the highest qualified nutrition practitioners including CNSs and RDNs.
  • When you Sign Up, you will fill out intake forms that get reviewed by our nutrition practitioners. Specifically, your medical conditions, health concerns, and specific things you need help with will be analyzed by CNS or RDN and recommendations will be made in a Word doc which will be uploaded to your Healthie profile for your review. You can also schedule a Video call over Healthie or phone call with us. We comply with HIPAA, ensuring the protection of your health information.
Both require a Master’s degree in Nutrition, approximately 1000 hours of supervised practice experience or an internship, and passing a national exam. The RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) has been around longer than the CNS (Certified Nutrition Specialist). Most states recognize either an RDN or CNS in order to become licensed to practice medical nutrition therapy (MNT) in the state. Any form of personalized nutrition is considered MNT. All our work with clients is overseen by a state licensed CNS or RDN. We do have nutrition practitioners that are working on their clinical hours in the CNS supervised practice experience (SPE) program, and their work with clients is overseen by a CNS supervisor who is credentialed and licensed.

We currently don’t accept insurance

There is an initial intake and follow-up sessions. Some clients just have specific questions or need help in a certain area for which recommendations can be made in one or two sessions. However, many clients find that they prefer many follow-up sessions to help them with more involved health issues. We’re flexible.
