FAQ

I am currently accepting new clients and the fee is $20 per session. The reason the fee is low is because I’m still in the process of gaining real-world clinical nutrition experience under the supervision of a licensed nutritionist. I am pursuing the Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential, which is another nationally recognized credential comparable to the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential. My CNS supervisor is overseeing all my work with clients to ensure proper care. Also, to ensure HIPAA compliance, I don’t disclose the identity of any clients without their permission. Also, I can provide my CNS supervisor’s contact information upon request.

Click “Book An Appointment” and submit your information. I will respond to your email promptly to schedule an appointment. If signing up as a new client, you will receive a link to setup your Healthie account. This is an electronic health record (EHR) system that is HIPAA compliant. Once you create an account, there will be client documents that need to be filled out and submitted. Some can be submitted via online forms. The others will need to be downloaded, filled out, and uploaded. I will review these once they are submitted. Also, Healthie is used for scheduling and billing.

In addition to PA, I can see clients from other green states, including AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, MA, MI, NJ, NY, PA, VA, WA

Both require a master’s degree in nutrition, approximately 1000 hours of supervised practice experience/internship, and passing an exam. Both the RDN and CNS serve as the foundation for state licensure, such as the LDN (licensed-dietitian nutritionist). The LDN is required to practice medical nutrition therapy (MNT). Any form of personalized nutrition is considered MNT.
